We were blessed by a visit from the Hawaiian Iveron Icon of the Mother of God.  She was accompanied by Deacon Seraphim from Hawaii, pilgrims from Washington and Pennsylvania.  Father Ignatius served a moleben.  This was an Unexpected Joy!

The sheds are in place.  The work inside begins.  We need to Install electricitly, finish the floor and walls, put up shelving, and move into the completed sheds!

By the intercessions of the Mother of God, and the generosity of our benefactors, we have been able to replace our drafty windows and have installed two new sheds.  They will provide much needed space for work and storage.

October was a busy month at the Convent!  We had a moleben served, asking for God's blessing for our project.   Then we had to level the ground in preparation for installing the sheds.

The sisters were blessed with a Hierarchical Vigil for the feastday of the Convent.   Bishop Luke was serving with Arch Priest Sergey and Hieromonk Ignatius, and Deacon Andrew

Fr Nektary brought the Wonderworking Hawaiian Iveron Icon of the Mother of God to our Convent.  Fr Dimitri was also visiting with pilgrims.  A moleben was served.  Most Holy Theotokos save us!

We are starting to clear the land in preparation for delivery of our two buildings.

Fr Anatoly served a moleben to the Mother of God and St John of San Francisco, asking for help with the building effort.

The crushed stone was delivered.  Area was levelled and filled with crushed stone and a drainage pipe

Dead tree was removed!  The pad is ready for delivery of the sheds in early November!

July 24 the Sisters celebrated the Feast of St Olga, Equal to the Apostles.  Bishop Luke served vigil and Liturgy in the Convent Chapel.  Liturgy was followed by Trapeza for everyone.

There is alot happening at the Convent this fall.  The carport has been built.  The expansion to the Annex has begun.  We harvested our first crop of honey.  A rather confused iris decided to bloom in October, and the beautiful Burningbush is starting to flame.  This years fall colors have a warm orange glow.
